Update Check
On documentation sites deployed to the Platform, you can check whether a page has been updated since you last viewed it.
Difference from CLI
When previewing with the CLI, there is no concept of a "logged-in user," so the update check feature is not available. This feature becomes active when you access a documentation site deployed to the Platform.
Update Status Display
The sidebar navigation displays an indicator showing the update status of each page.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Has Updates | The page has been updated since your last view |
| No Updates | No changes since your last view |
How It Works
- When a user views a page, the version at that time is recorded
- When the documentation is updated, a new version is recorded
- The user's viewed version is compared with the latest version, and "Has Updates" is displayed if there are differences
Use Cases
- Track important changes: Never miss updates to policies and procedures
- Continuous learning: Catch up on technical documentation updates
- Team coordination: Ensure all members have reviewed the latest version
